Disclaimer

This World Wide Web (WWW) site is provided as a service to
the membership of AMFA Local 33, and contains public information that may be
distributed or copied unless otherwise specified.
-
AMFA Local 33
takes your online privacy very seriously. Therefore, unless you
explicitly state otherwise, or we explicitly state otherwise, any data
that we collect as a result of your use of the site remains
confidential. AMFA Local 33 has access to
its server log files, which reveal general information about the make up of
its visitors (browser type, OS, referrer agent etc). This information is
used to help AMFA Local 33 improve its site design to best match the needs
of the membership and visitors.
-
In almost all cases, when you go
to a web site, web servers log your interaction with the site in
something called a log file. Standard log files like ours contain
basic information like what time what pages were viewed, and the
IP address of the visitor. We use this information to analyze
trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. We make no effort
to identify IP addresses with individual users.
-
Server log files are reviewed regularly to determine the traffic to
the AMFA Local 33 Web site, including the number of unique visitors,
level of demand, pages most frequently accessed, and types of errors,
etc.
-
Server logs may be preserved indefinitely, and used at any time and in
any way necessary to prevent security breaches and to ensure the
integrity of the data on our web site.
-
Cookies - files placed on your hard drive by a Web server - are used
by the AMFA Local 33 web site for certain processes such as database
transactions and information. We use cookies to record user-specific
information on what pages users access or visit. If you choose to disable them, you may not receive optimal
results.
-
AMFA Local 33 does not seek or collect any data related to specific
users of this site without their permission. Information you provide to us
when you subscribe to automated email notification and information
collection, is used only for the
purpose of providing you with the requested information. Information that
you provide freely in other, unsolicited electronic correspondence will be
used only for contacting you; it may be preserved as a record of the
correspondence. The information we collect is used to improve the
content of our Web page, not shared with other organizations or commercial
entities.
-
AMFA Local 33 conducts polls or
surveys on it's site from time to time. By voting you are not disclosing any
other information other then the answer to the question the poll asks. A
vote cannot be traced to a specific individual, and hence your identity
remains anonymous.

This is to ensure your privacy when sending this information
across the internet. -
