Mesaba Negotiations update for April 14, 2006
A status conference was held today in the chambers of the bankruptcy court
judge chambers to discuss the current state of negotiations. This conference was
closed
to the public and only the lawyers were in attendance. It is possible that there
will more such conferences in the future. The proposed findings of fact with
respect to
Mesaba's 1113C motion was written in concert with the legal teams of AMFA, AFA,
and ALPA. This document was submitted to the court on the 7th of this month.
AMFA and Mesaba are scheduled to return to the negotiating table on the morning
of Tuesday, April 18th. Anther update will follow on Tuesday with respect to the
negotiations and any update to the status conferences with the bankruptcy court.
AMFA, ALPA, and AFA are holding joint picketing today in northern Minnesota
stations that Mesaba serves.
