Position Description 

Maintain and operate mechanical and building systems to world-class standards. Help identify, plan, and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects specific to facility and customer requirements. Responsible for and routinely performs preventative, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance. Scopes out work problem recognition and resolution processes. Must thoroughly learn all operations and be available to assist others with the efficient operation of the facility. Works in team environment to achieve long range objectives and support service integration processes at multiple sites as assigned. Responsible for completion of tasks associated with daily operations.

Position Responsibilities 

• Assists in monitoring performance goals and systems within the assigned facility
• Assists with projects and tasks
• Thoroughly learn all systems related to the efficient operation / maintenance of the assigned facility
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair to HVAC, controls, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment including maintenance and repair of interior/exterior systems and components
• Use diagnostic equipment and statistical performance indicators to perform routine analysis and problem resolution work
• Monitor/test water treatment systems or be responsible for water treatment systems at assigned site.
• Plans, prioritizes and schedules own assigned work received from Maintenance Leads and Maintenance HVAC mechanics who will provide work direction on specific projects / task
• Scope assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources, working with Maintenance Leads as necessary
• Organize and clean maintenance and operations areas associated with the facility including mechanical rooms, documentation, shop equipment and tools
• Purchasing and track routine maintenance supplies and services
• Responds to facility service requests as needed
• Must be regularly available to work OT and on call as required to meet business requirements
• Participate in long range and annual planning by identifying issues, repairs and/or maintenance needed on equipment in assigned facility
• Work with team and maintenance leads to define and accomplish performance objectives tailored to specific business unit requirements

Basic Qualifications 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two year trade school certificate or equivalent
• First class “C” or higher Boiler license
• 3+ years experience with operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems
• 1+ years control systems operation and repair
